Dr. Howard Bellin
The founder and director of CosMedica, one of New York’s premier cosmetic surgery centers, Dr. Howard Bellin has been practicing cosmetic surgery for over 30 years. Upon earning his Bachelor’s degree from Amherst College, Dr. Howard Bellin attended medical school at New York Medical College, after which he obtained an internship with the University of California Hospital. In the years since, Dr. Howard Bellin has held several leadership positions including Chief of Plastic Surgery at the prestigious Cabrini Medical Center and teaching roles at both Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center and New York Medical College.
Over the course of his career, Dr. Howard Bellin has performed over 12,000 surgeries and has earned much respect and acclaim within the cosmetic surgery field. Dr. Howard Bellin is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and he currently acts as the sole cosmetic surgeon at CosMedica, devoting most of his time to working directly with his patients.
A celebrated inventor and thought leader, Dr. Howard Bellin has been awarded eight U.S. patents and has earned extensive national attention for his work, with appearances on Oprah, 20/20, Geraldo, CNN and MTV. Dr. Howard Bellin has also been featured in a number of widely-read publications including the New York Times, People, Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. In 1980, Dr. Bellin’s first book, Dr. Bellin’s Beautiful You Book, was published. In 2000, he published a follow up entitled BeautyScience.
